Jeff Williams is the Assistant Director of Government Relations at the New York Farm Bureau. He has been responsible for all regulatory issues at the Farm Bureau, the largest farm advocacy organization in the state. He also serves as a resource to government officials and Farm Bureau members in the issues of animal welfare, civil justice reform, education, environmental, equine, forestry, livestock, political education and awareness, as well as transportation issues and related taxes.
Until shortly over two years ago, Mr. Williams served as a Legislative Analyst for Senator Stephen Saland, Senate District 41 (Hudson Valley). In this capacity, he worked on issues related to agriculture, economic development, environmental conservation, and real property taxes. Mr. Williams has significant political experience, having advised numerous candidates on legislative and policy issues affecting their individual campaigns.
Mr. Williams received his undergraduate degree, a Bachelors of Arts, from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Professional Studies in Community Service Administration from Alfred University.
