The Skate Creek Club is located on the South Branch of the Grasse River in St. Lawrence County. The club has 34 members, mainly from New York State. Clubs like the Skate Creek Club have made it possible for sportsmen of ordinary means to enjoy fellowship and feasible access for responsible hunting. The clubs do not kill does. The caretaker, Terry Daniels, shown in front of lodge, got a 16 pt. buck here in 1988. The lodge, which was built in 1957, contains a dining room, kitchen, lounge & sleeping quarters.A “Gone But Not Forgotten” plaque honoring departed members adorns one of the walls.
