Property Rights Conference Proceedings Published
The Property Rights Foundation of America has just published the Proceedings of its Ninth Annual National Conference on Private Property Rights, entitled The Burning Quest—Rules of Engagement for Defending Our Property Rights. The conference, which was held in October 2005 at the Turf Holiday Inn, Albany, N.Y., featured prominent national experts and dedicated grassroots leaders speaking about their successful and cutting edge efforts to advance private property rights. Bill Moshofsky, president of Oregonians in Action, Tigard, Oregon, delivered the keynote address on “Regulatory Takings Compensation—The Successful Oregon Measure 37 Referendum.” Late in February, Oregon’s highest court upheld the constitutionality of Measure 37.
