PRFA to Exhibit at NEACA Arms Fair at UTICA
AUD Apr. 9,* 10, 11
The Property Rights Foundation of America will host a display at the NEACA Arms Fair and Sportsmans Exposition at the big Utica Memorial Auditorium on April 9, 10 and 11, 2010.
The PRFA exhibit will focus on the conflict of the state land acquisition with the continued existence of hunting camps and the access of sportsmen to the Adirondack forests. After ten years of effort started by PRFA in 1999, 220 camps on the tracts acquired in partial title as conservation easements are being allowed to remain. At the present time, the states announced intent to acquire 100 square miles of the former Finch Pruyn lands for Forest Preserve from The Nature Conservancy threatens the hunting camps on leases on those timberlands. We can have influence again!
