PRFA
Exhibit on DEC Threats to Hunting and Hunting Camps at NEACA
Arms Collectors Show at Saratoga City Center
New York
State Department of Environmental Conservation has been developing
policies that support restoration of a substantial population
of wolves in New York and the Northeast. The DEC is disputing
with the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service because the FWS is not
keen on the wolf classification that DEC advocates, which would
force the federal agency to take on the burden of protection
of wolves in New York State.
The PRFA
display will have available copies of the official DEC letter
disputing the FWS wolf classification, as well as a recent national
news article where the DEC advocates restoration of a population
of wolves in New York and the Northeast. In addition, there will
be copies of PRFAs New York Property Rights Clearinghouse
explaining the significance of DECs new connectivity
plan for its forests to allow predator movement.
Support
the right to bear arms and enjoy the company of fellow patriots.
Visit PRFAs popular exhibit on the future of hunting and
hunting camps on forest lands.

information about the NEACA shows, which open at 9:00 a.m. on
both Friday and Saturday, and joining NEACA (one year membership

PRFA Exhibit
on Threats Posed by DEC Policies to Hunting and Hunting Camps
at NEACA Arms Collectors Show, Saratoga City Center
This
exhibit added information about the DECs stepped up movement
toward wolf restoration in New York and the Northeast to the
popular PRFA exhibit about the DEC threat to the hunting clubs
on former Finch Pruyn Land and the DECs intensifying policy
of closing hunting access to the Forest Preserve. Thousands of
people concerned with the right to bear arms packed the NEACA
on this weekend. The PRFA exhibit was crowded with at least twice
as many inquirers as usual.

Common
Ground in the Adirondacks - Speech by Carol W. LaGrasse,
President, Property Rights Foundation of America, Inc., Hosted
by the League of Blue Line Voters, Town Hall, Chestertown, N.Y.
Drawing on first hand
observations, experience, and research beginning in 1973, Carol
LaGrasse refutes the popular Adirondack strategy of seeking common
ground with environmental groups, and instead urges that the
Adirondack community leadership base their strategy of working
in a united front on their inherent common ground with organizations
ranging from local government officials to sportsmen to medical
institutions, and other groups whose corporate purposes are consistent
with the wellbeing of the local people and their communities.

American Eagle Bookends Presented to John S. Marwell and James
E. Morgan in Appreciation for Their Service to the Cause of Private
Property Rights
John Marwell and Jim Morgan create a moment of hilarity pretending
to share a single set of American eagle bookends when Carol LaGrasse
ceremoniously held up only one set of bookends and asked both
lawyers to come to the podium to accept a gift of appreciation.
The brass bookends were from the Congressional gift shop at the
Longworth House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
