Note:
A supplement to the above letters was sent on September 21, 2001with
a cover letter by APA Senior Attorney Mitchell Goroski, noting
that it was a supplement to my September 7 transmittal of
121 letters. (This was an incorrect total for the number
of previously submitted letters. The total of 121
applies to pages of letters attached previously, not the number
of letters.) He noted that he enclosed 6 more letters. However,
my study was already finished and these were not included in the
study. In any case, these letters were not applicable because
they were written after the August APA meeting when the Commissioners
voted to go to public hearing, which was the cutoff point of my
study.
(The first letter attached on September 21 was from Bernard Ruf,
who had already written, and the next from John Nelson. Next was
William D. Hutchens cover letter, enclosing a joint letter
from Jim Washburn and Donna Maloney Washburn, and another from
R. E. Field, both of these letters from earlier letter writers.
The next two were the requests for party status from the Residents
Committee to Protect the Adirondacks and The Adirondack Council.
Finally, there was another letter from Henry Kinosian.) - CWL
