Don Corace

Don Corace

Don Corace is a real estate developer and writer in Naples, Florida. He is the author of Government Pirates: The Assault on Private Property Rights-And How We Can Fight It (Harper, 2008). In Government Pirates, Corace takes an in-depth look at the accelerating assault on private property around the country, telling thoroughly documented stories of abuses on individual rights while giving advice for those whose property may be in danger. He has been a successful real estate developer and businessman for more than twenty years. After he became all too aware personally of the impact of government infringements on property rights during the process of obtaining permits to build, he has immersed himself in property rights issues affecting people across the country, applying his drive and skill as a businessman, media expert and writer to reach out and enlist people to right these wrongs. He is in demand as a public speaker and has appeared on Hannity & Colmes, the Neal Boortz Show, and many other media venues, and has testified before Congress on property rights issues. He is also the author of the novel Offshore, set in the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling rigs and oil culture.
