The "Historic" Home of Jim Baillargeron in Newport, Rhode Island

The 25 windows of Jim Baillargeron's house were deemed too historically significant —after he replaced them— for the new weatherized windows in the photos to be acceptable. Instead he was ordered by the Historic Commission to remove them and replace them with historically accurate windows at a prohibitive cost.
