Part I

A Meeting during a Blizzard that took down power lines and left residents without power for almost a week in eastern New York State and Connecticut. Many registrants could not make the trip, but two thirds braved the storm and had a warm and enlightening day. At the foreground table are (left to right) Jigs and Jo Ann Gardner, authors; Will Graves, international wolf expert; and Theo Dowling of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association in Washington, D. C. Note a copy of the book, Gardens of Use and Delight, by Jigs and JoAnn Gardner on the table at his right. At the conference, Will Graves also autographed his book, Wolves in Russia.
