March 19 & 20: The Campaign to Save Hunting Camps
PRFA to Exhibit at the NEACA Arms Fair at Saratoga City Center

Enjoy good company and fine arms and militaria opportunities at the upcoming NEACA Arms Fair and Militaria Exposition. Be sure to stop at the Property Rights Foundation of America’s exhibit at the NEACA fair at the beautiful, expanded Saratoga City Center on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20. The PRFA exhibit is devoted to saving the hunting camps in the Adirondack forest and to the battle to maintain access to the land for hunters, snowmobilers, and all sportsmen and women.

PRFA’s display features original photos and publications about the threat that land acquisition poses to hunting access and the existence of hunting camps on leases in the historic Adirondack timberlands and the practical effort we are making to counter the threat. This year the PRFA focus is on the immediate threat to the hunting camps on leases on the 100 square miles of former Finch Pruyn timber land in the Upper Hudson region of the Central Adirondacks with the announced plan of The Nature Conservancy and the Department of Environmental Conservation for the state to acquire the land to convert it to “forever wild” Forest Preserve.

The double issue of the first full color issue of our newsletter, to be given out free at the exhibit, tells the full story of our Fourteenth Annual National Conference on Private Property Rights, which was devoted to the battles to stop government from forcing people out of their traditional communities and way of life, whether by eminent domain, zoning, or preservationist land acquisition.
